DNIGI UQUCH'EL'ANI MOOSE HUNTING
1. Gu dach' ses gheneshu. I went this way to a ridge.
2. Dnigi beq' hq'a ghashu. I came upon some moose tracks.
3. Nughełqeh. I tracked them.
4. Qatuldełi niłtu naqadetazdatl'. The moose started to go in a circle, preparing to lie down.
5. Qaniłch'eyi ank'uch'enh ba tanshu. I went against the wind.
6. Nalyu hq'u begh neshu. I came to one lying down.
7. K'eyich'a gheni beł k'danłtetl'. I shot that bull moose.
8. Ts'ił qeyan q'u beq'es eł k'danłtetl', I shot it only once, in its neck,
9.     ch'u chi'ełyuq.      and I killed it.
10. Qudghełu. I butchered it.
11. Łuq'u nugheshdeghak. I packed it all back.
12. Yethdi Qayeht'ana ił luq'u suts'dultuk'. Then, with all the villagers, we ate it all up.
